In my current position of ten years as an administrative assistant for Down Under and Out, an Australian producer of underwear and outerwear, I provide frontline support to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.


In this challenging sales support position, I am depended on for my excellent ability to handle an extremely large workload while interfacing extensively between vendors, sales representatives and warehouse personnel to confirm pricing, shipments, and inventory replenishment.


In addition to my creative talents used for maintaining the company’s website, I have strong analytical skills that are fully used to conduct market research, track inventory, and to prepare monthly sales and expense reports.


My role extends to working directly with buyers and coordinating the logistics of showroom events. For the most part, this includes sending / confirming invitations, preparing inventory and preparing the showroom to ensure all merchandise is displayed effectively, and resolving a myriad of problems.


I started with the company as receptionist and accepted more responsibilities as the company expanded. I am very appreciative of everything I’ve learned, and can honestly say that I have been instrumental in the company’s growth. However, it is time for me to explore other administrative opportunities that will invigorate my career in new ways.
