Dear Mr. HR Manager:
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and be considered for a Facilities Management role with Traverse Units, Ltd.
I offer 20 years of combined experience in business ownership and facilities management with a leading commercial graphics design/production firm and construction management with a high-profile residential consulting company. I also serve as project manager for Jipson, a security contracting company serving both the residential and commercial marketplace.
Having worked in a high-end production environment where 100% uptime is critical, I have acquired a reputation for being proactive and have incorporated routine inspections and preventative maintenance programs into my standard management protocols.
Ensuring the ongoing functionality and reliability of a company’s properties and equipment assets is directly proportional to its financial performance; consequently, my programs and overall facilities leadership have been instrumental in cutting costs and optimizing production output.
In addition to my construction management background, I offer strong knowledge of widely-accepted methods, practices, and procedures for managing facilities as well as a sound technical understanding of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, fire, safety, and security safeguards, and preventative and predictive maintenance and repair of equipment and tools.
With such a strong track record of performance under my belt, I believe I am well equipped to tackle a role where I am chiefly accountable for the day-to-day functionality and seamless operations of your company’s property, buildings, equipment and workforce.
As you examine your needs for a facilities management professional, please consider all that I bring to the table. I would greatly enjoy the opportunity to meet with you in person and to tour your facility to learn more about your organization and how my qualifications would be a good fit.
