Dear Mr. Smith:
I am actively seeking an Administrative or Executive Assistant position working within a demanding, project oriented office with a minimum staff size of 25. I need to be extremely busy, mentally stimulated and challenged to learn and perform. For this reason, it is important that this position will make use of my office management abilities, technical aptitude and creativity — all of which I’ve used as an executive assistant and fundraising event coordinator for both for-profit and non-profit organizations.
Throughout my 15 years of experience I have demonstrated for my employers an exceptional facility for meeting organizational objectives and demands. In addition to my secretarial skills, I am well organized, dependable and creative. As an executive assistant, I have provided frontline executive level support while exercising the highest degree of discretion, sound judgment, maturity and confidentiality — especially in matters of finance and corporate change.
In addition to working directly with senior level executives, I have also been extensively involved in coordinating marketing campaigns and coordinating events working directly with marketing teams. Regardless of who I supported, handling workflow efficiencies, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritizing tasks based on importance and urgency have always been a skill that I’ve brought to each project and assignment.
I am confident that I have the necessary skills, attributes and professional demeanor to perform at a high level in your organization reporting directly to C-level executives.
If you feel there is a mutual interest, I would welcome the opportunity to meet with you to learn more about your company, the requirements of the position, and how my qualifications would be a good match.
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
